If you are reading this because you are considering a planner or day-of coordinator, you will be SO happy to hired Peonies and Perfection!! It was worth every penny and I would hire them again over and over, truly! Although I had a longer engagement (almost two years), I was so nervous about how my wedding day would plan out. There are so many details to think about. In order to ensure I wouldn’t have to worry on my wedding day and could be present in the moment, I hired Lauren! She set up and tore down all our Rehearsal dinner decor and handled ALL our needed items for the church and reception for the wedding day!

Having her and her team there to ensure everything was displayed and covered was so helpful! I was so thankful for her and her team because without them, I know many things would’ve ran behind schedule or been missing on the day. She also helped me find my videographer and who I loved as well! I also loved that she set up candles and rose petals in our suite for after the reception. Lauren was our day-of coordinator for our August 2023 wedding. From the beginning she was very easy to get into contact with and always responded to me, even though she was helping at other weddings. I may have even asked her too much but she was always kind and supportive! Leading up, we had very detailed meetings outlining exactly how the day was going to go. She thought of EVRYTHING. She brought up so many things we didn't even have planned yet. She took so much stress off me leading up to the wedding and was always like "I got this. We'll figure it out".

Day of, she handled countless things I'll never even know about. It wasn't even until after the wedding I was getting stories from my husband, wedding party, and guests about how Lauren handled all the mishaps. I knew we made the right choice with Lauren when my husband and I were taking pictures after the ceremony during the cocktail hour. It was just us two and the photographer walking past the ceremony site when I saw Lauren, hair in a bun, in flats, HAULING a whiskey barrel cocktail table across the lawn BY HERSELF. I vividly remember saying "Oh my god!!" That girl WORKS. She was the secret key to the day. Looking back at pictures, she was always in the background fixing a table, lighting candles, fluffing my dress as I walked down the isle. She stayed until about 1 AM making sure everything was cleaned up. She even snuck away during the reception to decorate our hotel room. She thinks of everything.

In summary, I highly recommend Lauren for your Day-of Coordinator on your wedding day!

“Where do I even begin to talk about how great Lauren was for our wedding?? I can say that I was so excited to work work her from the day we met! I knew that having her there on the wedding day, would be like having myself there, doing all of the things I could not do. Fast forward to the few months before the wedding, and I am a COVID-19 bride. We spoke many times, and Lauren put my mind at ease that I should wait it out and that she is there to help with whatever I need. Well.... I needed her. Things kept changing week by week, and she was there to help me sort out what I should be doing with our ever changing wedding plans. Then a week and a half before the wedding we had to make even more changes. Lauren jumped to action so quickly! She met us at the venue to speak with the coordinator, asked all of the questions I had no clue to ask. She met with me and the DJ a different day. She went to the venue to make sure the tent was being put up correctly. She gave me a vendor to decorate our tent at the last minute, and went there that day to check on things! Keep in mind, I only hired Lauren to be the day-of wedding coordinator! She went above and beyond! Not only did she help out so much leading up to the wedding, but the day-of she was an absolute life saver! She kept us running on time, was there to help when there were emergencies (like bridesmaid’s dresses ripping and not zipping up), and was constantly keeping me in the loop! Everyone kept asking me who she was, because she was running around the whole day and never stopped! She and her assistant even decorated our bridal suite and packed up all of our things from the wedding into the hotel room for us! Honestly, I could go on forever about how much she saved us! With all of the heartache and stress that came with having a wedding during this crazy time... she really did save me, and help us have the most beautiful wedding!

It's all in the name! Perfection. Lauren made everything perfect! She is so organized. She thought of things we never would have thought of. Everything went great at the wedding. We had so many wonderful comments from guests about the event itself, but also about how outstanding Lauren was. She impressed everyone-yet she was always in the background. Never showy or pushy. She just guided things along and made everything happen perfectly. Throughout the whole wedding planning process she made us feel comfortable, was ALWAYS available, and went above and beyond to make our day special. “Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. From start to finish Lauren was there for us, meeting every need and want we had. I had met with Lauren after a few other wedding planners had let me down and left me disappointed. She did not know it yet, but had high expectations to fill since I was losing faith in ever finding the right wedding planner for my special day. Lauren was just coming over to get an idea of what we were looking for. I was so surprised when she came with an entire vision board already made up from what I had verbalized to her on our first phone meeting. She did not rush us, nor did she over step, but really listened to what we were looking for and only offered helpful suggestions and recommendations based off her prior experience.

Within the first week Lauren had three appointments scheduled with her preferred vendors, brought a detailed budget excel sheet, a revised vision board with all of our photo inspirations from our face to face meeting, and possible other vendors for us to set up meetings with as well. I was shocked that she was taking the initiative to get things going fast, since the other wedding planners I worked with before did not make me a priority. Lauren was communicative, answered all of my calls, texts and emails and always returned any missed calls in the same day, which is unheard of now a days. She introduced me to some incredible vendors who also contributed to our amazing wedding day. Looking back now, Lauren definitely won me over in that first week.

The days leading up to the wedding Lauren was at our venue for hours setting up and making sure that everything was ready to go. On the morning of the wedding Lauren made sure we were fed, had everything we needed, bouncing back and forth between the hotel where we were getting ready and the venue. During the ceremony, Lauren completely saved the day because my husband’s brother and best man forgot the wedding rings in the house. I do not know how she did it, but she ran into the house, found where the wedding bands were, grabbed them and sprinted back to the alter to hand them to the groomsmen without me even noticing. Honestly I would not have probably believed it, unless it happened to me. She is a life saver, when instances come up that are out of your control! Our tent and décor were breathtaking, she put finishing touches on everything and completely made our vision come to life. Throughout the wedding night, Lauren made sure we stayed on schedule, she came to my rescue every time I looked like I needed her, without me even knowing she saw me. And somehow, she disappeared long enough to decorate our room at the hotel for my husband and I’s return after the wedding reception, without us noticing again. All I can say is she is the real deal. Lauren stayed all night cleaning up everything with the caterer, returned early the next morning to take all of the trash away, and made sure that all the vendors got the tents, lights, rental décor items, restrooms, generators, air-conditioning units, floral, valet, etc. removed from my mom’s property. There was absolutely nothing left for us to do, she made sure the entire clean-up process was completed with no surprises or responsibilities left on us. I would make the decision to work with Lauren again in a heart beat and not change one thing about my wedding and I owe all of its success to Lauren. Thank you Lauren, from the bottom of my heart. You made our dream wedding come true!”

“You know you did the right thing when your daughter and new son-in-law tell you at the end of the night that their wedding was the “best day ever”. During the wedding planning stages, when my husband realized I was getting stressed planning our daughter’s wedding, he suggested I talk to Lauren. He had worked with Lauren in corporate event planning, but knew she did wedding planning on the side. My fear with the wedding was that I would spend so much time planning and coordinating that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my daughter’s wedding and visit with our guests, so I went with his suggestion and contacted Lauren. We had most of the wedding planned (or so we thought), so after getting information from Lauren we hired her as our day-of coordinator.

My daughter, Jessica, and I met with Lauren to go over everything we had arranged and our vision for the wedding. When Lauren started asking us questions about our plans, I knew we had picked the right person. She was extremely detailed and made us think about things that we hadn’t even considered I don’t even want to think of the things we might have left out without her help. We met a few more times before the wedding to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She created a minute by minute timeline that she gave to us and to the members of the wedding party to make sure everyone was on the same page. Lauren contacted our vendors and let them know she would be the contact for the wedding day. The fact that she is detail oriented, organized and always on top of things should be reason enough to be thankful we had her with us through this journey, but add in her sweet, friendly, caring personality and we couldn’t ask for more! On the day of the wedding Lauren made sure everything was where it needed to be. She set up the decorations at the reception venue and sent me pictures to my iPhone to make sure it was just how I wanted it. She even had more ideas with some of our decorations and made the room look better than I had hoped. If anything went wrong, I never knew it. Lauren handled it all! We were able to visit with our guests and enjoy the wedding knowing that Lauren was taking care of any issues. I had even forgotten to show Lauren how to bustle Jessica’s wedding dress, but Lauren figured it out without skipping a beat. At the end of the night, she cleaned up all the decorations and got them packed up in our cars. We didn’t have to worry about any of it. When Jessica and Kyle got to their hotel room, Lauren had worked her magic there as well. The room was decorated with roses and rose petals. It was a great way to top off the “best day ever”! To sum it all up, would we hire her again? Yes, we did! We hired her right away for our daughter Courtney’s wedding in September of 2019. I wouldn’t even consider planning a wedding without Lauren’s assistance.”

“While I already had most of my vendors chosen and the venue booked, I was looking for a special individual or event company who could coordinate everything on our wedding day so that myself, my mom and bridesmaids could just enjoy the day at hand. I had researched many firms and individuals when I found Lauren, and I couldn’t have been more blessed in my choice! Lauren was there every step of the way and made the whole process, especially in the last couple weeks, a breeze. Everything was executed perfectly and we enjoyed the wedding of our dreams! Even my florist commented during a final meeting how impressed they were with Lauren, and how she went above and beyond what they have seen with other planners/coordinators.
